Mo’ Dogs Mod is a Minecraft mod which implements 40+ unique dog breeds and 7 new dog collars/accessories to the game. Dogs can be tamed using a variety of foods, with different breeds preferring different types of food. Once tamed, dogs will follow the player around and can be commanded to sit, stay, and attack.
In addition to providing companionship, dogs can also be used to protect the player from mobs. They will automatically attack any hostile mob that comes near the player, and they can be equipped with armor to make them even more effective in combat. Dogs can also be used to transport items, and they can be bred to create new dogs with different traits.
