When using OneNote, you may want to select text or objects vertically, rather than horizontally. This can be useful for tasks such as copying and pasting vertical columns of data, or moving or resizing objects in a vertical direction.
To select text vertically in OneNote, simply click and drag the mouse pointer over the text you want to select, while holding down the Shift key. To select objects vertically, click on the first object you want to select, then hold down the Shift key and click on the last object you want to select.
