In Ableton Live, there are a few different ways to create triplet hats. One way is to use the Drum Rack. To do this, create a new Drum Rack and add a closed hi-hat sample to one of the pads. Then, right-click on the pad and select “Edit Note Properties.” In the “Note Properties” window, set the “Gate” value to “1/3.” This will tell Ableton to play the hi-hat sample for one-third of a beat, which will create a triplet hat pattern.
