Ginger Island is a late-game area in Stardew Valley that can be unlocked after completing the Community Center or purchasing the JojaMart Membership. It is a tropical island located to the south of Pelican Town and can be accessed by taking a boat from Willy’s Fish Shop at the beach. The island is home to a variety of new characters, crops, and fish, as well as a number of secrets and challenges. Unlocking Ginger Island can greatly expand the gameplay experience in Stardew Valley, and it is well worth the effort to do so.
To unlock Ginger Island, players must first complete the Community Center or purchase the JojaMart Membership. Once this has been done, they can speak to Willy at his Fish Shop. He will offer to take them to Ginger Island for a fee of 1,000 gold. Players can also choose to pay 500 gold to take a one-way trip to the island, but they will need to pay another 1,000 gold to return to Pelican Town.
